The NSW HIV Information Line is a service for all of NSW and provides telephone-based information, support and referral on HIV and related issues.

Staff can answer general questions about HIV and related issues, including testing, prevention, risk reduction, safe sex, safe needle use and general information about treatment.

NSW PEP HOTLINE

The HIV PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) Hotline is a service that provides information, assessment and a referral service for people from within NSW who believe they may be at risk of acquiring HIV following high risk community exposure to HIV within the last 72 hours.

People potentially exposed to HIV within the last 3 days can call the 24-hour PEP Hotline as soon as possible to be assessed for eligibility of PEP.

BLOOD AND BODY FLUID EXPOSURE PHONELINE

The Blood and Body Fluid Exposure (BBFE) Phoneline provides information, support and referral services for NSW based healthcare workers, paramedical workers and emergency services workers who sustain a needlestick injury and/or experience occupational exposure to blood or body fluids during the course of their work duties.

The BBFE Phoneline does not replace local workplace management protocols of occupational exposures.

NSW NEEDLE CLEAN UP HOTLINE

The NSW Needle Clean-Up Hotline is a call centre that takes reports from the public and coordinates the clean-up of dumped needles and syringes in public places anywhere in NSW.
