“Since I was a student, I always wanted to be an Oncology Nurse.  Some of the conversations I’ve had are really inspiring. Patients want to talk about their normal life; they’re not interested in talking about their disease or treatments. They are going through the hardest thing they might ever go through and they are optimistic and thinking of life outside.

Working and living in the Shire, I would see those patients and they would wave and say thank you… it’s really nice to see them doing well.”
