Mental Health Month October 2020: The theme for Mental Health Month 2020 is "Tuning In". Tuning in means being present. It means being aware of what is happening within you, and in the world around you. Being present by tuning in has been shown to help build self-awareness, help make effective choices, reduce the impact of worry, and build positive connections. Our staff have come together to showcase their passion and share messages of solidarity and hope. |

Aboriginal Mental Health September 2020: Ange Karooz and Darryl Gardiner talk about the new model of care for Aboriginal Mental Health Consumers which has been developed in partnership with the La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Council and the Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation. This new model of care bridges the gap for Aboriginal people who access both inpatient and community mental health resources and services the entire SESLHD Aboriginal Community. |
