Referring New Patients 

To refer a new patient to The Sutherland Hospital Oncology Day Clinic, please use one of the below contact methods:

To ensure timely access to care at The Sutherland Hospital Oncology Day Clinic, please ensure the following documentation and information is included with the referral: 

• Staff Specialist patient is being referred to 
• History of presenting complaint 
• Past medical history 
• Current medications 
• Medical imaging, pathology and/or histopathology results 
• Up to date contact details for the patient 

Upon receipt of referral, our team will ensure the patient information is triaged and the patient will be contacted for an appointment.

The Medical Oncology Advanced Trainee or Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner are available for advice on referrals on the phone number above.
