Our Emergency Departments are located at the Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital, Sutherland Hospital and Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital.
If you are seriously injured, seriously unwell or have a life-threatening medical emergency, call Triple Zero (000) or go to a hospital emergency department immediately.

We have three main intensive care units, located at Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital and Sutherland Hospital. We also have a neonatal intensive care unit at the Royal Hospital for Women.
Intensive Care refers to the specialised treatment given to people who are acutely unwell or injured and require specialist medical/nursing care and close monitoring.

St George Hospital is the Level 1 Trauma Centre for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, and the wider catchment including the Illawarra/Shoalhaven and Murrumbidgee Local Health Districts
