Yarning about liver health

Aboriginal culture is rich in story-sharing traditions. Inspired by this, we take an innovative approach to talking about liver health. Our one-on-one sessions are held with our Senior Aboriginal Health Project Officer who adopts a relaxed yarning approach to exchange key messages about the liver, Hep C, safer injecting and living a healthy life. .

Refer-a-friend bonuses

Our clients are offered incentive vouchers for educating and referring family and friends to the program, to participate in screening for HCV and STIs and return for their results and any treatment required.

To find out more about the project and incentives, please ask to see Cathy at reception at the Kirketon Road Centre.
