MPs unite in support of COVID-19 vaccinations

St George and Sutherland Shire Members of Parliament - from both side of politics - recently came together to tour the COVID-19 Vaccination Hub at St George Hospital.
 
Mark Speakman, Member for Cronulla, Lee Evans, Member for Heathcote, Eleni Petinos, Member for Miranda, Mark Coure, Member for Oatley, Chris Minns, Member for Kogarah and Steve Kamper, Member for Rockdale, were given a tour of the Vaccination Hub by Paul Darcy, General Manager, St George Hospital, Kim Olesen, Acting Executive Director of Operations SESLHD, Julie Cosgrove, Acting Director of Nursing St George Hospital and Catherine Zammit, Vaccination Hub Project Coordinator.
 
“The Vaccination Hub staff have been busy vaccinating healthcare workers and members of our community and it was a great opportunity for our local Members of Parliament to come together to meet the staff and see how the hub operates,” Mr Darcy said.
 
After the tour, several of the VIP guests received their vaccination and had nothing but praise for the staff.
 
Mark Speakman MP, said the vaccination process is quick and seamless.
 
“I thank the outstanding medical and administrative staff at St George Hospital for their hard work and professionalism,” Mr Speakman said.
 
Steve Kamper MP, encouraged everyone who is eligible to register and get vaccinated.
 
“It was a painless and professional experience as always from the world’s best healthcare team,” Mr Kamper said.
