New Dental Clinic opens in Kogarah

The brand new 12-chair Kogarah Community Dental Clinic, located at 2 Belgrave Street Kogarah, has now opened.

Dr Marianne Gale, Director, Population and Community Health, SESLHD, said the new clinic will provide the community with improved access to high-quality public dental care.

“We are really excited to be able to deliver public dental care for the local community in a new, modern facility,” Dr Gale said. “I thank everyone that has been involved in its development.”

“The new clinic will deliver modern, multidisciplinary care to eligible residents of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Services will include general, preventive and urgent dental care, improved access to some specialist services as well as community education programs and outreach.”

Eight dental chairs that were spread across three smaller clinics in the St George area have been brought together with four new dental chairs to create the 12-chair Kogarah Community Dental Clinic. The existing clinics at Bond Street, Hurstville (adult clinic), Rockdale and Hurstville Public School grounds (child clinics) have closed.
