Outreach

Kirketon Road Centre has an outreach service which uses a customised bus or a mobile foot outreach with the aim of helping people living and/or working on the streets of inner-city Sydney to access services.

We also run a number of Satellite Clinics where you can access our services. 

Services available

Some examples of services that can be provided on outreach are:

  • Basic healthcare: dressings, wound care, health assessments (such as BP monitoring, BSL checks), referrals, STI screening and serology, immunisations, Fingerprick blood tests (DBS)
  • Temporary accommodation assistance, health education, harm reduction, crisis management, drug and alcohol assessments and referral
  • Take home Naloxone training
  • Nicotine Replacement Therapy
  • NSP and condoms
  • Provision of food when available
  • Referrals to other health, housing and social support services
  • any other health questions or concerns you may have

When?

Monday - Saturday 6pm - 10pm

Where?

We travel to various locations including: Martin Place, Woolloomooloo, Central Station, Belmore Park, Circular Quay and Darlinghurst. The outreach goes to different locations over the course of the evening.
