Women's Health Program

The Women’s Health Program aims to improve the health and wellbeing of women living in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). We focus on women experiencing difficulties accessing and benefiting from health services.

We provide short-term health services for women and for people with a cervix who are experiencing inequitable access to health services.

This includes women and people with a cervix who are:

•    Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander
•    experiencing social or economic disadvantage
•    from multicultural backgrounds (particularly those from non-English speaking countries)
•    experiencing homelessness
•    living with mental health problems
•    living with a disability
•    LGBTIQA+
•    carers
•    impacted by the justice system

We help women and people with a cervix find and connect with services for their ongoing care.
