Aboriginal Lifestyle Support Program
Bulbuwil is a free healthy-lifestyle program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, run by health professionals.
We run a variety of fun physical activity groups in the community. We also provide information and advice on chronic diseases, and coordinate with different care providers, whilst teaching you how to manage your own health.
Throughout the program you will be supported by:
- a Registered Nurse
- a Dietitian
- an Exercise Physiologist
- an Occupational Therapist
What we do
We run a variety of groups for people of all ages and levels of fitness such as:
- Walking Group
- Water-based activities
- Gym activities
- Art group
- Healthy cooking classes
- Healthy lifestyle advice
- Quit smoking program
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the St George or Sutherland Shire areas.
How do you access Bulbuwil services?
Services are available free to any person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent with a chronic disease, or who is at risk of a chronic disease, and their families and carers. You don't need a referral, just get in touch on 0409 731 923.
