AHEAD Migraine Research Study

Prince of Wales Hospital, University of NSW, Alfred Health and Monash University are working together on a research study about migraine in Australia. The AHEAD research study will investigate:

  • how common is migraine in Australia?
  • how does it affect our lives, work and families?
  • how can we make this better?

Our research team

People involved in the study.

What is involved?

The research team are mailing 19,500 randomly selected households across Victoria and New South Wales and inviting people to complete a survey. The survey asks whether people experience migraine, and if so, how it affects their lives, the treatments they have tried and the barriers accessing healthcare.

The survey is anonymous. Participants will not be asked to provide their name, address or anything that can identify them.
